How to Get a Library Card

Residents of Abington should bring proof of residence such as a Driver's License, lease, cancelled mail, utility bill, etc. to the Circulation Desk. Children under 16 may obtain a card based on the ID of the accompanying parent.

Individuals residing in an Old Colony Library Network member town may apply for a library card in any library within the network, regardless of residency in that particular community. Library users will be offered the choice of returning to their 'home' library to apply for a card.

Residents of other Massachusetts towns should get a card at their home town library. By showing that card and proof of residence in that town at our Circulation Desk you can be registered to borrow in our system.
