Cliffhanger
Book Discussion Group
The Cliffhanger Club is a Child – Parent Book Discussion
Group which meets monthly from October through May. Registration
is required. Children must be in the fourth through eighth
grades.
Jr.
Cliffhanger Book Discussion Group
The
Jr. Cliffhanger Club is a Child - Parent Book Discussion Group
which meets every six weeks from October through May.
Registration is required. Children must be in the second
or third grades.
Toddler Time
This is a lap-sit story time for babies and toddlers under
the age of three. The program is offered in the Fall, Winter
and Spring. Children must be accompanied by a parent / caregiver.
Registration is required.
Pre-School
Story Times
Story Hour programs are offered for three, four and five year
old children during the Fall, Winter and Spring. Registration
is required.
Summer Reading
Program
This is a reading adventure for all ages. Elementary school-aged
children are encouraged to read for pleasure during the summer.
Parents read to toddlers and preschoolers. There are also
performers, book discussion groups and craft programs.
Bedtime Story
Hour
Offered during the summer, Bedtime Story Hour invites children
ages three to seven to don their pajamas for evenings of stories
and songs.
School Class
Visits
Public school classes visit the library for tours and instruction
from September through June.
After School
and Vacation Week Activities
Story-Craft programs, science activities and performers are
offered for elementary school aged children.
